Two and a half years ago the Fast and Furious movie franchise lost one of its main actors, Paul Walker, in a fatal car crash. The cast and crew reeled from the loss and are still recovering from it today. Currently, Fast and Furious is filming its 8th edition in the franchise.
Paul Walker left a lot more behind than just a successful movie career, he had a daughter who was 15 years old when he died. The cast and crew rallied around her when it happened which was nice to see. Vin Diesel is in the middle of filming the latest movie, and he posted a heartwarming tribute to Paul Walker on his instagram.
Posting a picture of himself and Walker, he wrote under it ‘Many of the crew members who have worked on several of the past Fast films are here again to help make something special. One of them at the end of the week came up to me and said wow what we are capturing on film is excellent…..and then he looked at me and said Paul would be proud #Wemakethemwithouthearts.’
The consistency that the franchise and its actors and crew have put into honouring and remembering Paul shows the tight and genuine bonds that were created on set of the movie, whose first edition came out back in 2001.
Vin posted a video on his instagram talking about the dark place that he has to go into to be able to play a character, and goes on to talk about how he makes himself feel better and how he handles the pain.
Fast and Furious 8 is set to be released in 2017 and has added superstars like Charlize Theron to the already all star cast.
The last movie in the franchise, Fast 7 was the last time Walker would appear in one of the movies and this will be the first one without him at all.
