American Man Warns, ‘Monkeypox ‘100 Times Worse’ Than Covid

Monkeypox

An American man working as a bartender in Texas has warned that being infected with monkeypox is 100 times worse than contracting the COVID-19 disease.

NBCDFW reported that Luke Shannahan said the illness left him with a 101 Fahrenheit fever, headache and swollen lymph nodes, which made him look like a frog.

Describing it as the most painful experience that lasted for 10 days, he said that he felt as if someone was pricking his body with needles.

After A Day or Two, He Developed Severe Blisters

Compared to the Covid infection, which he had last year, Shannahan said monkeypox is 100 times worse. It was a completely different level of extreme fatigue. The report states that he has succeeded in getting the monkeypox vaccine.

In an interview with KHOU 11 news, Shannahan said that she did not know how she got the disease.

Shannahan said, “I was at the bar. I was going to pool parties. I attended a concert over the weekend and lately all those people are turning positive.”

The Dallas Health Department informed him that he had been exposed to the virus.

Shannahan, who spent the past three weeks in quarantine, described the symptoms as ‘absolute hell’.
