Tech giant Apple has announced that it now has over 86 million paid customers across all of its services, which include Apple Music, Apple TV Plus, Apple News, iCloud and more.
Apple’s Chief Financial Officer Luca Maestri said the company saw an increase in customer engagement with its services during the quarter.
“We now have over 86 crore paid subscriptions to services on our platform, up from 160 million over the last 12 months,” he said during the June quarter earnings call with analysts.
The CFO noted that Services posted a record revenue of $19.6 billion, up 12 percent in the June quarter, despite approximately 500 basis points of FX headwinds and the impacts of our business and macroeconomic environment in Russia.
Maestri said, “The record level of performance of our services portfolio during the June quarter reflects the strength of our ecosystem on multiple fronts. Our installed base continues to grow, to an all-time high across every geographic segment and key product category. has arrived.”
Meanwhile, Apple CEO Tim Cook said that in the two-and-a-half years since its launch, Apple TV Plus has now scored 250 wins and more than 1,100 award nominations and counting.
