Singer and lyricist Armaan Malik was impressed by the performance of ‘Indian Idol 13’ contestant Rishi Singh. Armaan Malik shared a video of the contestant singing his track ‘Pehla Pyaar’ from the 2019 film ‘Kabir Singh’ on social media.
Armaan said that he loves listening to young and emerging talent, “It is always amazing to discover new voices from our country and when I found the clip of Rishi Singh singing my song ‘Pehla Pyar’, I shared it. Couldn’t stop myself from doing it because it was really cool.”
The ‘Main Hoon Hero Tera’ singer further added that her fans too quickly shared the video and were instrumental in making it popular.
He added, “Not only that, my fans and listeners, who have loved the original version and made it viral because such an extraordinary voice like her is worth listening to.”
Armaan also decided to meet her during a singing reality show and not only did she visit the show but also performed with Rishi.
“The Indian Idol team reached out to me to come on the sets and surprised Rishi and I said yes. We both sang ‘Pehla Pyar’ on stage and it was really such a great experience. I want Rishi to show I am absolutely the best and I hope he continues to win our hearts with his every performance.”
