Director Mohan Raja’s ‘Godfather’ starring superstar Chiranjeevi in ​​the lead has earned a whopping Rs 69 crore worldwide in two days. Industry sources say that the grand political action thriller, which opened to a grand opening for Dussehra, continued to dominate the box office on the second day as well.

The Film is Expected to Earn Massively During the Weekend

The film, which features Salman Khan in a brief yet powerful role, is doing quite well, with positive reports pouring in from almost everywhere.

‘Godfather’ earned Rs 38 crore worldwide on the first day and Rs 31 crore on the second day. After two days, it has earned a total of Rs 69 crore worldwide.

The makers feel that since the Dussehra holidays are still on, the numbers will remain massive over the weekend as well.

The story of the film is quite entertaining as it revolves around the power struggle in a political party immediately after the death of a Chief Minister. The chief minister’s daughter (Nayanthara) has no interest in power, her son-in-law (Satya Dev), and some others in the party are at the center of power grabbing.

The cinematography of the film is done by Nirav Shah and music is given by Thaman.
