Meta is releasing ‘Show More’ and ‘Show Less’ buttons in its News Feed on posts from people and communities that users are engaged with and posts that Facebook recommends them. Facebook users can now customize Facebook feeds by selecting ‘Show more’ or ‘Show less’ on posts to see more of what you want and reduce what you don’t.
“Selecting Show More will temporarily increase the ranking score for that post and other posts like it,” Meta said in a blog post late Wednesday. If you select Show Less, you’ll temporarily lose its ranking. Will lower the score.”
Facebook Said It Would Periodically Show It on Posts in the Feed
You can choose Show More or Show Less by tapping the three-dot menu in the upper right corner.
“We Are Starting to Test This Feature in Reels As Well,” Meta Said
The company is also exploring ways to customize how much content users see in their feeds from friends and family, groups, Pages and public figures.
“These Tools, As Well As Favorites, Snooze and Reconnect, Can Be Found in Feed Preferences,” Meta Said
Features like these can help you find more content that’s valuable to you, so you can watch more of what you want and see less of what you don’t.
