The much-awaited Rajasthan summit was inaugurated on Friday by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot in the presence of veteran industrialists including Gautam Adani. The state government is hosting a two-day ‘Invest Rajasthan Summit’ at JECC campus in Jaipur. State Industries Minister Shakuntala Rawat will also be present on the occasion.
The state government has set a new benchmark by attracting an investment of over Rs 10.44 lakh crore with the theme “Committed. Remitted”.
Dignitaries from some of the most prestigious corporate groups from across the world are participating in the two-day summit.
The summit will see invigorating conferences and panel discussions on key areas with interesting perspectives being shared by some of the biggest industry experts and leaders.
The government press note said, “The main objective of these conferences is to bring together various groups of notable business entrepreneurs, investors, thinkers and policy and opinion makers to discuss the preparedness of their respective sectors.
More than 4,000 guests from all over the world are attending this summit. Some of the names of such eminent dignitaries include Dr.
Praveer Sinha, CEO and Managing Director, The Tata Power Company Limited; Dr. Anish Shah, Managing Director and CEO, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.; B. Santhanam, President, St. Gobain India; Ajay S. Shriram, Chairman and Senior Managing Director, DCM Shriram Limited; CK Birla, Chairman, National Engineering Industries Ltd.; Sanjeev Bajaj, President CII and Chairman and MD, Bajaj Finserv Limited; Anil Agarwal, Chairman, Vedanta Group; ln Mittal, Chairman and Managing Director, ArcelorMittal; and Gautam Adani, Founder and Chairman, Adani Group.
All the dignitaries will interact at the Investor Rajasthan Summit. Some of the key sectors planned for the conclave are agriculture and agro-processing, tourism, startups, MSMEs, NRR and future ready sectors.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot will also announce the names of Rajasthan Ratna awardees on the first day of the summit.
