A football player was gunned down by some people outside a high school in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania state, US, killing one player and injuring three.
The attack took place outside Roxborough High School at 4:30 p.m. local time on Tuesday, following a brawl during a football game.
Police said the players were on their way out of the field when they were ambushed by people in a vehicle, Xinhua news agency reported.
According to preliminary information, officials found two 14-year-olds, a 17-year-old and another victim with gunshot wounds.
The injured were taken to a hospital, where a 14-year-old teenager was later declared brought dead.
So Far No Arrest Has Been Made in This Case
According to the Gun Violence Archive, nearly 33,000 people, including more than 1,200 children and teenagers, have died as a result of gun violence across the US so far this year.
