The ongoing renovation work at the GMC Balayogi Athletic Stadium in Gachibowli, Hyderabad will force defending champions Hyderabad FC to play their first home match of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2022-23 season in Pune.
The ISL champions will play their first home match against Mumbai City FC on 9 October at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune.
Prioritizing the safety of players, the club has decided to move the match to an alternate venue in consultation with the league.
Hyderabad FC will return for their second home match against Bengaluru FC in Matchweek 3 on 22 October at the Gachibowli Stadium.
