On the occasion of International Yoga Day, people practiced yoga from the banks of the Ganges in Patna on Tuesday in the assembly premises.
The JDU involved in the government may have distanced itself from the Yoga Day, but Union Minister RCP Singh was seen doing yoga in Bodh Gaya. JDU leader RCP Singh said that I am grateful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for making this ancient Indian style of international recognition and celebration through International Yoga Day.
At the same time, BJP State President Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal participated in a yoga program organized in Sagar Pokhara, Bettiah. He said that Yoga has brought a golden change in the lifestyle and method of mankind. Its architect is Prime Minister Modi.
Apart from these, BJP leader Sushil Modi did yoga in Patna. Panchayati Raj Minister Samrat Chaudhary also participated in the yoga program organized by Namami Gange Patna Unit.
It is worth noting that JDU’s Parliamentary Board President Upendra Kushwaha had said on Monday that it is not necessary to go to the open ground and do yoga collectively.
I have been doing yoga at my home for years and will also do yoga at home tomorrow on the occasion of International Yoga Day.
