Rajasthan Royals’ explosive batsman Jos Buttler was seen wearing a jersey filled with autographs after this IPL season, pictures of which are going viral on social media.
Butler remained a fan favorite despite the Royals’ seven-wicket loss to Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2022 final at the Narendra Modi Stadium on May 29 as the 32-year-old England cricketer scored 863 runs this season including four centuries.
Butler won the ‘Orange Cap’ by batting brilliantly and became the second highest run-scorer in an IPL season after former Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli.
Before leaving the IPL bio-bubble and saying goodbye to his teammates, Butler took autographs of every Royals player, support staff and people living with the franchise.
The 32-year-old wore three pink Royals jerseys one over the other and took autographs of all players and support staff before flying to England.
The Royals posted a video of Butler asking teammate Ravichandran Ashwin for an autograph, after which Ashwin happily said, “Wow! Autographed so many jerseys and all T-shirts.”
