Mercedes-AMG driver Arjun Maini is all set to do better in the third round of the 2022 DTM Championship at the historic Imola race circuit in Italy this weekend.

The Bengaluru driver came close to securing his second podium in the series in the last round at Logitzering when he finished fourth during the weekend’s first race.

The Paul Mercedes-AMG GT-3, driven by Haupt Racing Team, will see Indian drivers looking to finish in a better way.

Manny, who debuted in DTM last year, has shown a lot of perseverance during his time in the competitive series and will try to do better to move up the championship table.

The Mercedes driver has set a clear goal for himself with a podium finish for the weekend, his management team informed on Thursday.

“We’ve done well in recent races and I’d love to continue the same form at Imola,” said Maini.

HRT is currently in fourth place in the championship. Mercedes-AMG team is level on points with Winward in third place.
