At least 13 people have been killed and five others injured after a truck rammed into a passenger bus in the city of Rahim Yar Khan in Pakistan’s East Punjab province. Rescue workers told local media on Saturday night that the truck, which was loaded with sugar sacks, went uncontrollably and fell on a passenger bus on Firoza Central Road.
According to the report of Xinhua news agency, 10 emergency vehicles as well as cranes were deployed in the rescue operation. During this, heavy rains hampered the rescue work.
Officials said that the rescue team started removing the bodies from the bus. Initially the bodies of 5 people were taken out, now the number of dead bodies has increased to 13.
He Said That the Injured Have Been Admitted to A Near By Hospital For Treatment
