Digital payments provider PhonePe has filed a complaint against its former employees for allegedly burning QR codes in Greater Noida on July 28.
While some of the employees responsible for the act joined Paytm earlier this year, sources revealed that the incident was the result of a personal enmity between him and his previous employer, and that it had nothing to do with leading digital payments company Paytm. had nothing to do with it.
Paytm also clarified that it has no role in the incident and said that the matter is between PhonePe and its former employees.
The company in a statement condemned the incident and said it has already suspended employees.
Paytm said, “This is a matter between PhonePe and its former employees. We condemn the act done by these employees, who have already been suspended from the company.”
