The Karnataka Police has constituted a special team to nab the doctor who fled after misbehaving with a 19-year-old patient in Bengaluru. The police gave this information on Monday.
Doctor Udedulla, who runs a clinic in Arundhati Nagar near Chandra Layout, is the accused doctor. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the team is gathering clues to nab the accused doctor at the earliest.
Police said that the accused doctor is a resident of Pension Mohalla in Cottonpet area of Bangalore and is married. In the last week of September, when the girl went to the accused doctor for treatment, the girl complained of stomach.

The doctor touched me inappropriately. On September 29, when I went for the second time, the accused doctor wrongly touched my cheek while giving glucose. On September 30, I went to him with my brother when the accused doctor sent her out and asked her to sleep on the bed in the clinic. She started sexually harassing me, I resisted and started crying.”

Police said that the victim has claimed that the accused doctor sexually assaulted her during treatment and threatened her not to disclose the matter.
The incident came to light when the victim refused to go to the clinic of the accused doctor. When her family members started taking her to the accused, she narrated her ordeal to her parents at the clinic.
After this the victim’s brother went to the clinic and clashed with the doctor. They broke furniture and damaged his clinic.
The accused doctor disappeared after the incident. Further investigation is on.
