Pornhub’s Parent Company CEO, COO Resigns Report

The CEO of MindGeek, the parent company of adult entertainment portal Pornhub, Ferrous Anton and COO David Tasillo have resigned.

As Variety reported, news of his exit came shortly after The New Yorker published an 8,000-word investigative article on the company that claimed Pornhub had sexually explicit sex with children without consent. Video is hosted.

“Antoon and Tasillo are leaving the day-to-day operations of MindGeek after more than a decade in leadership positions with the company,” a company representative said in a statement to the website.

“With the company strategically positioned for long-term growth, MindGeek’s executive leadership team will run day-to-day operations on an interim basis, with the search for replacements underway,” the representative said.

MindGeek’s policies state that videos on its site are scrutinized to make sure they don’t contain minors, and to verify that the videos have been shared with the consent of the people who appear in them. Huh.

However, The New Yorker interviewed several women who discovered videos and photos of themselves on Pornhub that they did not consent to sharing.

The representative said the leadership change has been in the works since early 2022.

Antoon and Tasillo will remain shareholders in MindGeek.
