Abhishek Singh, who played 58 matches in the VIVO Pro Kabaddi League, made several brilliant raids to make Uttar Pradesh the champions in the Kabaddi competition at the 36th National Games Gujarat 2022 in Ahmedabad last week.
Regarding his journey at the National Games, Raider said, “Our journey at the National Games was really good. We were under pressure here as we lost in the quarterfinals at the Senior Nationals earlier this year.
We Prepared Well For It
Supported each other in competitions and national games. We had a strong defense and our captain Rahul Chaudhary also contributed a lot to the team.”
Abhishek revealed that he will now focus on playing well for Telugu Titans in the VIVO Pro Kabaddi League that begins in Bengaluru on October 7.
He said, “Our first match is on October 7, so on the first day we will try to put in a good show. We had a training camp in Hyderabad before the National Games.
Our coach spent time with each one of us and asked us to Talked about the aspects that we need to improve on. We have a good team and let’s see what happens once the season starts.”
Raider further added, “My practice sessions with Telugu Titans definitely helped me during the National Games. Since I had practiced the game and did fitness training regularly, I have been in the National Games right from the very first match. Could have done well.”
Telugu Titans will take on Bengaluru Bulls in their first match of the Pro Kabaddi League on 7 October at the Sri Kanteerava Indoor Stadium in Bengaluru.
