Google-owned Fitbit Versa 2 smartwatch is reportedly facing issues due to the latest software update. According to Gizmochina, several Versa 2 users have reported their devices becoming unusable after installing the update.
The report states that the update may have affected some units and could be due to an unresolved bug.
The major problem reported by users of the Fitbit Versa 2 is that its touchscreen is no longer working.
The latest Versa 2 update with firmware number V35.72.1.23 was expected to fix the bugs, but apparently, not all bugs were captured.
However, it has been observed that the bug is not present in some Versa 2 units. In some affected units, it’s impossible to get past the lock screen, and even restarting the unit doesn’t help.
Members of the Fitbit community who complained about the issue also said that even a factory reset did not solve the problem.
It was also reported that users who factory reset Versa 2 units were unable to pair the device with the smartphone after that.
