Yogi government is making all efforts to promote tourism in Uttar Pradesh. In Taj Nagari, the Horticulture Department has built a special tower in the shadow of the Taj, from where tourists will be able to see the magnificent view of the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Mehtab Bagh and Yamuna River.
The watch tower has been constructed in the Sheesh Mahal Park of the Horticulture Department. It will be opened for tourists before Diwali. The Horticulture Department has constructed a watch tower in the Sheesh Mahal Park located at the west gate of the Taj Mahal.
Tourists can see the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Yamuna River together from the watch tower. Greenery is the only greenery around this watch tower.
Park Deputy Director Kaushal Kumar Neeraj said that the Sheesh Mahal Park has been developed with the aim of promoting tourism, so that domestic and foreign tourists visiting the Taj Mahal can have a pleasant experience. He told that a watch tower was built to keep an eye on the Sheesh Mahal mound from the point of view of security, which had become dilapidated.
A new watch tower has been constructed for the tourists by breaking it. About 100 tourists can visit the tower at a time. 72 lakh rupees are being spent in developing Sheesh Mahal Park.
The construction of watch tower and pathway in the park has been completed. Phulwari has been made in the park and many types of saplings have been planted. After the duly inauguration of the park, tourists will be able to enter the park by buying tickets.
Deputy Director Neeraj said that not only is the watch tower special in Sheesh Mahal, the environment here is also very special.
Flowering plants have been planted around the watchtower in the park, due to which the surrounding part of the watchtower keeps smelling with natural fragrance all the time.
There is a different feeling when you enter the park. A hut has also been built in the Sheesh Mahal Park spread over a large area, where tourists can sit and enjoy pure air.
Apart from the watch tower, many other works including a grand statue, waterfall, fountain, lighting and canteen are also proposed in the park. Before Diwali, the Horticulture Department is busy preparing to inaugurate the park.
