Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha Welcome Baby Boy: 'First We Had Each Other, Now We Have Everything'
Actor Parineeti Chopra and her politician husband Raghav Chadha have celebrated a significant new milestone, having been blessed with their first baby, a baby boy. The couple announced the arrival of their son, confirming that they have entered a new phase of their life.
The announcement was made jointly by Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha on Instagram on Sunday. They shared a note proclaiming the joyful news, which read: “He's finally here! Our baby boy.”
The note continued, describing the profound change the baby has brought: “And we literally can't remember life before! Arms full, our hearts are fuller. First we had each other, now we have everything,”. The couple signed off the message with "With gratitude, Parineeti & Raghav”. They posted the note without an accompanying caption, using only an evil eye emoji to convey their sentiment.
Earlier on the same Sunday, it was revealed that Parineeti had been admitted to a hospital in Delhi. Sources indicated that Mr Chadha was by his wife's side during this special time, eagerly awaiting the arrival of the baby. In addition to the politician, both Parineeti’s and Raghav’s families were present. An insider added that the whole family was very excited, noting that “This Diwali feels extra special for them as it is bringing even more joy and celebration with the little one on the way,”.
Parineeti and Raghav had first shared their pregnancy news in August. Their joint post at the time was accompanied by a picture of a white and gold cake featuring the equation “1 + 1 = 3” and a baby feet design. The announcement caption read: “Our little universe … on its way. Blessed beyond measure,”. The couple also shared a video in August showing them sweetly holding hands while taking a walk in a park.
The couple became engaged in May 2023 at Kapurthala House in New Delhi, followed by their wedding in September of the same year at The Leela Palace, Udaipur, Rajasthan. Prior to the baby’s arrival, Raghav Chadha had hinted that good news was forthcoming during an August appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show, stating, “Denge, aapko denge… good news jaldi denge! (We’ll give you good news soon!)”.
