CBSE to introduce school grading, tighten unfair means rules from 2026

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced significant reforms set to be implemented by 2026, including the introduction of a school grading system aimed at enhancing educational standards across affiliated institutions. This new grading framework is expected to provide a more comprehensive evaluation of schools, fostering a competitive yet fair environment for student learning. In addition, CBSE plans to strengthen its regulations against unfair practices during examinations, ensuring a more credible assessment process for students. Another notable initiative is the launch of the 'Annual Young Culinary Championship', targeting students from Classes 6 to 12, which will encourage culinary skills and creativity among the youth. These reforms reflect CBSE's commitment to modernizing education and promoting holistic development among students, aligning with contemporary educational needs and societal expectations.
