Committee to probe ‘systemic issues’ behind repeated failure of PSLV rocket

In response to the recurring failures of the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV), a committee has been established to investigate the underlying systemic issues affecting the rocket's performance. This initiative aims to scrutinize the entire lifecycle of the PSLV, focusing on critical stages such as manufacturing, procurement, and the assembly of its various components. The committee's findings are expected to provide valuable insights that could enhance the reliability of future launches. The PSLV has been a cornerstone of India's space ambitions, successfully deploying numerous satellites since its inception. However, recent setbacks have raised concerns about the robustness of the existing processes. By addressing these challenges, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) hopes to reinforce its commitment to maintaining a high standard of operational success in its ambitious space endeavors. The outcomes of this investigation will not only impact the PSLV program but also set a precedent for future projects under ISRO's expansive portfolio.
