Three dead, 58 injured in UAE since start of Iran’s retaliatory strikes, says defence ministry

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has reported three fatalities and 58 injuries due to missile attacks following Iran's retaliatory strikes. The UAE's defense ministry revealed that its missile defense systems have successfully detected 165 ballistic missiles, intercepting 152 of them, along with two cruise missiles. These developments come amid heightened tensions in the region, particularly in response to geopolitical conflicts involving Iran. The UAE has ramped up its military readiness in light of these threats, emphasizing its commitment to safeguarding its infrastructure and citizens. The international community is closely monitoring the situation, as these strikes could have broader implications for regional stability. The UAE's strategic location and its role as a commercial hub make it a focal point for potential escalations in the ongoing conflict. The government has urged residents to remain vigilant and has implemented measures to ensure public safety during this period of uncertainty.
