100 flights cancelled at Delhi, Mum airports
On Saturday, over 100 international flights were cancelled at Delhi and Mumbai airports due to the ongoing crisis in the Middle East, which has disrupted air travel. The Mumbai airport reported the cancellation of 35 departures and 36 arrivals, while Delhi airport saw 22 departures and 17 arrivals cancelled. The airport operator DIAL noted on social media platform X that various west-bound international flights may face delays and schedule alterations as a result of the conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran that began on February 28. The situation has led to the closure of several airspaces in the Middle East, compelling airlines to limit their services. Travelers are advised to check with their respective airlines for the latest updates regarding flight schedules and potential disruptions caused by the regional conflict.
