19 Foreign Universities To Set Up Campus In India, Says Education Minister

In a significant move to enhance India's higher education landscape, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced that 19 foreign universities will establish campuses in the country. This initiative aims to foster international collaboration and improve educational standards across various disciplines, including semiconductors, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, essential minerals, agriculture, and sustainable management. The minister emphasized that Indian institutions are increasingly partnering with global entities to create a robust educational framework that meets the evolving demands of the economy. The introduction of these foreign campuses is expected to provide students with a diverse learning environment and access to global academic resources, thereby elevating India's position as a hub for quality education.
