Cabinet Okays 4-Laning Of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway Section In Madhya Pradesh

The Indian Cabinet has greenlit the four-laning of a crucial segment of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in Madhya Pradesh, a project estimated to cost approximately Rs 3,839.42 crore. This initiative, which will be executed under a hybrid annuity model, aims to enhance connectivity between two major metropolitan areas, facilitating smoother transportation and bolstering economic activities in the region. The expressway, once completed, is expected to significantly reduce travel time and improve logistics between Delhi and Mumbai, two of the country's largest cities. This development aligns with the government's broader agenda to modernize national highways and improve infrastructure across India, thereby supporting economic growth and development in various states. Furthermore, the project is anticipated to generate employment opportunities and stimulate local economies during its construction phase and beyond.
