Check Indian airlines' flight status to the Gulf
In response to ongoing tensions in the Middle East, Indian airlines are enhancing their services to facilitate the return of passengers stranded in the region. On March 7, airlines including IndiGo, Air India, and Air India Express are operating additional flights to key Gulf destinations. IndiGo is set to resume flights to five Middle Eastern cities, emphasizing the importance of passenger reunification after recent disruptions. Air India has also scheduled extra non-stop flights from Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Muscat, and Sharjah, while continuing to operate regular services deemed safe. Air India Express has reinstated its operations from Muscat and is adding flights to various other cities. SpiceJet is running special flights from Fujairah but cautions passengers about potential weather-related disruptions. These measures are part of a concerted effort to address the backlog of travelers unable to complete their journeys due to recent airspace restrictions and safety concerns. Airlines are closely monitoring the situation, ensuring that operations are adjusted in accordance with evolving safety conditions and regulatory approvals.
