COWRKS leases office space to Cashree in Blr
COWRKS, a prominent player in the managed office space sector and part of Brookfield Properties, has recently announced the leasing of 80,000 square feet of office space to Cashfree Payments in Bengaluru. This new headquarters will be located in Bellandur and is designed to accommodate approximately 800 desks. Mattew Parambil, Vice President and National Head - Revenue at COWRKS, highlighted the company's comprehensive expertise in workspace design and infrastructure, which aims to foster collaboration and innovation among teams. COWRKS operates across eight major Indian cities, managing over 2.1 million square feet of office space and more than 26,500 desks. The demand for office space in India has reached unprecedented levels, driven largely by foreign firms establishing Global Capability Centers (GCCs) in key urban areas, including Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR, and Mumbai. This trend is reflected in recent developments, such as JP Morgan's leasing of 272,000 square feet from COWRKS in Mumbai. As the office rental market continues to surge, the recent lease by Cashfree Payments underscores the growing appetite for premium office spaces in India’s major cities.
