Gaurs Group to invest Rs 100 crore to set up precast plant in Greater Noida
Gaurs Group, a prominent realty firm in Delhi-NCR, has announced a significant investment of Rs 100 crore to establish a precast manufacturing plant in Greater Noida. This initiative aims to enhance the company’s construction capabilities through backward integration. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on February 19, 2026, in the presence of Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo and the Finnish Ambassador Kimmo Lahdevirt. The agreement involves collaboration with Elematic India, a subsidiary of Finland's Elematic Group, focusing on advanced precast concrete technology. The new facility, which will cover five acres, is set to produce a range of precast components, including slabs, columns, beams, and walls, with operations expected to commence within six months. Additionally, Gaurs Group has placed a substantial order worth Rs 150 crore for modular bathrooms and kitchen pods for its ongoing projects, sourced from Jindal Elematic in Alwar. Director Veshesh Gaur emphasized the growing importance of construction technology in managing complex residential developments, noting that the integration of advanced precast manufacturing will significantly enhance efficiency and reduce project timelines by up to 30%. As one of the leading developers in the region, Gaurs Group aims to leverage this technology to improve quality control and streamline its construction processes.
