Govt Maintains Domestic LPG Prices Are Below Market Level, Reports No Increases In Diesel, Petrol Prices

The Indian government has reiterated that the prices of domestic liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) remain lower than market levels, following recent adjustments in commercial cylinder rates. Officials highlighted that the increase in commercial cylinder prices is directly linked to rising crude oil prices in Saudi Arabia. Despite fluctuations in global oil markets, the government has opted not to increase prices for diesel and petrol, maintaining stability for consumers. This decision aims to mitigate the impact of inflation on households and support the economy amidst ongoing global energy price volatility. The government continues to monitor market conditions to ensure that domestic fuel prices remain manageable for the public.
