Indian Army foils early morning Pak drone intrusion attempt along LoC in Poonch, J&K

In a significant security operation, the Indian Army successfully intercepted an attempted drone intrusion from Pakistan near the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch, Jammu & Kashmir. During the early morning hours, army personnel detected 2-3 quadcopters attempting to breach Indian airspace. Quick response measures were employed, leading to the drones retreating before they could carry out any malicious activities. This incident underscores the persistent challenges posed by drone technology in border security, particularly in volatile regions like Jammu & Kashmir, where tensions between India and Pakistan remain high. The Indian military has heightened its surveillance and counter-drone capabilities in response to increasing drone incursions, which are often used for smuggling arms and other contraband across the LoC. This operation reflects the Indian Army's proactive stance in maintaining national security and protecting its territorial integrity against evolving threats from adversarial forces.
