IPL 2026: RCB To Play Five Home Matches In Bengaluru, Two In Raipur

The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has confirmed that they will host five of their home matches in Bengaluru during the IPL 2026 season, alongside two matches scheduled to take place in Raipur. This announcement alleviates previous concerns regarding the team’s ability to play at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, which had been under scrutiny following a tragic incident where 11 fans lost their lives in a stampede after RCB secured their first IPL title in 2025. The decision to maintain a presence in Bengaluru is seen as a positive move for the franchise and its loyal fanbase, ensuring they can enjoy live matches at their home ground. The matches in Raipur are part of the IPL's efforts to expand its reach and engage with a wider audience across different regions. As the 2026 season approaches, RCB fans are eager to see their team defend its title and continue building on their recent success.
