Israel targets 200 in Western, Central Iran
In a significant escalation of military operations, the Israeli Air Force (IAF) has conducted extensive airstrikes targeting over 200 sites across Western and Central Iran. These strikes are part of Operation "Roar of the Lion," aimed at crippling the Iranian military infrastructure, specifically focusing on ballistic missile launchers, defense systems, and production facilities associated with the Iranian regime's military capabilities. Among the key sites targeted was the 'Taleghan' compound, reportedly linked to Iran's nuclear weapons development efforts. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) also claimed successes against Hezbollah in Lebanon, eliminating high-profile commanders involved in missile operations and coordination with Iranian forces. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a stark warning to Iran's leadership, implying that no Iranian leaders, including the new supreme leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, are safe from Israeli military actions. The ongoing conflict highlights the increasing tensions in the region, raising concerns about further escalation and its implications for regional stability and security.
