J&K Govt Welcomes Extension Of NEET-UG Application Deadline

The Jammu and Kashmir government has expressed its support for the National Testing Agency's (NTA) decision to extend the application deadline for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduates (NEET-UG) to March 11. This extension is seen as a significant relief for students, allowing them additional time to prepare and submit their applications for this crucial medical entrance examination. The NEET-UG is a key step for aspiring medical students in India, determining their eligibility for admission to various medical colleges across the country. The government has emphasized the importance of this opportunity in ensuring that all eligible candidates can participate in the examination process without facing undue pressure. With the extension, the NTA aims to accommodate the needs of students and ensure a fair chance for all applicants, particularly in light of the challenges faced by many due to various circumstances. The NEET-UG is a highly competitive exam, making such extensions essential for fostering a more inclusive educational environment.
