Madhya Pradesh Trainee Cops Told To Start Day With 'Dakshinamurthy Shloka'

In a unique initiative aimed at enhancing discipline and spiritual well-being among police trainees, all police training schools in Madhya Pradesh have been instructed to commence their daily routine with the recitation of the 'Dakshinamurthy Stotram'. This traditional Hindu prayer, dedicated to Lord Shiva as the teacher of the universe, is believed to promote wisdom and enlightenment. The directive, issued by the state police administration, mandates that the shloka be played through loudspeakers across the training campuses, fostering a sense of unity and focus among the future law enforcement officers. This move is part of a broader effort to instill moral values and a sense of duty in police personnel, thereby enhancing their effectiveness in serving the community. The initiative reflects a growing trend in Indian law enforcement to integrate cultural and spiritual practices into training programs, aiming to cultivate a more holistic approach to policing in the state.
