Maharashtra Remains India's No 1 Economy, GSDP To Reach Rs 51 Lakh Crore: Survey

Maharashtra continues to solidify its position as India's leading economy, with a projected Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) reaching an impressive Rs 51 lakh crore. This accounts for approximately 14% of the nation's nominal GDP, making it the highest contributor among Indian states. Following Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh contribute 9.4% and 9% respectively. The survey highlights the state's robust economic performance, driven by diverse sectors including manufacturing, services, and agriculture.
