PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana: PM Modi To Release 22nd Installment Today, 9.32 Crore Farmers To Get Rs 2,000

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to announce the 22nd installment of the PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi Yojana today from Guwahati, which will provide financial assistance to approximately 9.32 crore farmers across India. Each eligible farmer will receive ₹2,000, aimed at supporting agricultural activities and enhancing the economic condition of rural households. The PM-KISAN scheme, launched in 2019, was designed to alleviate the financial burden on farmers by providing them with direct cash transfers. With this latest installment, the total amount disbursed under the scheme will significantly contribute to the livelihoods of farmers, especially in the wake of challenges posed by fluctuating crop prices and natural calamities. The initiative underscores the government's commitment to ensuring food security and supporting the agricultural sector, which is vital to India's economy and employment landscape. This latest release is expected to bolster the morale of farmers and reinforce the government's ongoing efforts to enhance rural income and promote sustainable agricultural practices.
