PM Modi Inaugurates Two New Delhi Metro Corridors

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently inaugurated two significant corridors of the Delhi Metro, enhancing the city’s public transport network. The newly launched Pink Line corridor, stretching approximately 12.3 kilometers from Majlis Park to Maujpur Babarpur, aims to improve connectivity in the northeastern parts of Delhi. Additionally, the Magenta Line corridor, measuring around 9.9 kilometers from Deepali Chowk to Majlis Park, further integrates the metro system, providing crucial links to various neighborhoods. This expansion is part of the Delhi government's ongoing efforts to promote sustainable urban transportation, reduce traffic congestion, and enhance the overall commuting experience for residents. The new corridors are expected to ease travel for thousands of daily commuters and align with the city’s vision of becoming a smarter and more efficient metropolis. The inauguration underlines the government’s commitment to investing in infrastructure that supports economic growth and urban development in the National Capital Region.
