PM Modi To Lay Stone Of North India's First Semiconductor Unit, Open Namo Bharat Corridor In UP Next Week

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to lay the foundation stone for North India's inaugural semiconductor manufacturing unit during his upcoming visit to Uttar Pradesh next week. In addition to the semiconductor unit, PM Modi will inaugurate the Namo Bharat Corridor, which is anticipated to enhance infrastructure and connectivity in the region. The event will also mark the launch of the 23-kilometer Meerut Metro corridor, featuring 13 stations, designed to improve urban transit and alleviate traffic congestion in Meerut. This initiative is part of the broader efforts by the Indian government to promote sustainable urban development and enhance public transportation systems across the country. The semiconductor unit and the metro corridor are expected to create numerous job opportunities and stimulate economic growth in Uttar Pradesh, a state that has been a focal point of the central government's development agenda.
