Punjab Police Bust ISI-Funded Terror Module In Amritsar, Recover AK-47, Glock Pistols

Punjab Police have successfully dismantled a terror module allegedly funded by the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) in Amritsar. During the operation, law enforcement recovered a significant cache of weapons, including an AK-47 rifle with two magazines and 36 live rounds, as well as three advanced Glock 9 mm pistols. This operation highlights ongoing concerns regarding cross-border terrorism and the infiltration of extremist elements in the region. Authorities are intensifying their efforts to combat such threats, which have been a persistent issue in Punjab, a state that has historically faced challenges related to militancy and crime. The police are currently investigating the origins of the weapons and the broader implications of this operation, which underscores the need for vigilance in maintaining security in the area.
