Texmaco Rail bags order for Mysore railways
Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd has announced a significant contract valued at Rs 27.67 crore from South Western Railway for the annual maintenance and breakdown restoration of overhead equipment and power supply systems in the Mysore division. This two-year agreement encompasses the maintenance of 1,046 track kilometers of electrification infrastructure and related electrical assets. The scope of work includes routine, emergency, and preventive maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of traction power systems within the division. With this new order, Texmaco's total portfolio of overhead equipment and power supply maintenance now covers an impressive 3,702.62 track kilometers across various railway divisions, including Bengaluru and segments of the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Ltd. This contract further solidifies Texmaco's reputation and expertise in railway electrification services, positioning the company as a key player in the Indian railway sector. Texmaco Rail & Engineering is recognized for its extensive manufacturing capabilities, with six units spanning over 6.78 million square feet, contributing significantly to India's infrastructure development.
