A tragic incident occurred in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh, where a five-year-old girl lost her life after being attacked by a pack of stray dogs. The attack took place early on Saturday morning, around 7 am, near a primary school located approximately 200 meters from the girl's home in Madhavganj. Eyewitnesses report that the child was playing outside when she was set upon by the dogs. This heartbreaking event highlights the growing concern regarding stray dog populations in urban areas, which poses risks to public safety, especially for children. Local authorities have faced criticism for not implementing effective measures to control the stray dog population, leading to similar incidents in the past.
