Adobe Photoshop Updated With AI Assistant; Firefly Image Gets New Editor Features

Adobe has unveiled a public beta version of its AI assistant feature for Photoshop, significantly enhancing user experience by allowing image modifications through text-based prompts. This innovative tool enables users to easily manipulate elements within their images, such as removing distractions, altering backgrounds, adjusting colors, and refining lighting, all by simply typing commands. The announcement was made during Adobe Max 2025, the company's annual creativity conference held in October. With this rollout, both the web and mobile app versions of Photoshop will now accommodate these advanced editing capabilities, making high-quality image editing more accessible to users across various platforms. This development positions Adobe at the forefront of integrating AI into creative software, reflecting a broader trend in the tech industry towards user-friendly solutions that leverage artificial intelligence to enhance productivity and creativity.
