Apple’s MacBook Neo 2 Said to Launch With A19 Pro Chip and Touchscreen Display

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has indicated that Apple’s upcoming MacBook Neo 2 may feature the powerful A19 Pro chip, which is also expected to debut in the iPhone 17 Pro. This next-generation laptop is rumored to include 12GB of RAM and a potential touchscreen display integrated into its IPS panel, suggesting a significant upgrade in functionality. Additionally, macOS is anticipated to receive optimizations for touchscreen use prior to the device’s launch. However, this innovative laptop is likely still over a year away from release, and Apple's plans could evolve in the meantime. Furthermore, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman has reported that Apple might extend its “Neo” branding to more budget-friendly devices, hinting at a potential rebranding of the Apple Watch SE to Apple Watch Neo. This move could reflect Apple's strategy to appeal to a broader audience while maintaining its commitment to advanced technology and user experience.
