This year, the registration process aims to streamline the pilgrimage experience, ensuring better management of the influx of visitors. The Char Dham Yatra includes visits to four revered shrines located in the Garhwal Himalayas, which are considered highly significant in Hindu spirituality. The initiative is part of the state’s efforts to enhance pilgrimage facilities and promote tourism, while also addressing safety and environmental concerns that come with large gatherings.
