Sonos has introduced two new speakers, the Sonos Play and Sonos Era 100 SL, enhancing its audio product range. Both models are equipped with advanced features such as Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and support for Apple AirPlay 2, enabling seamless multi-room audio playback via the Sonos app. The Sonos Play is particularly notable for its portability, featuring a robust 35Wh battery that offers up to 24 hours of playback time and an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance. In contrast, the Era 100 SL is designed for stationary use, requiring a wired power source. Both speakers incorporate a sophisticated audio setup with triple amplifiers, dual tweeters, and a mid-woofer for enhanced sound quality. The Sonos Play is priced at approximately $299 (around Rs. 27,500), while the Era 100 SL is available for about $189 (roughly Rs. 17,400), making them competitive options for audiophiles and casual listeners alike.
